Dr. Tajinder Manku
Vice President RF & Analog Engineering
Dr. Tajinder Manku is Vice President RF & Analog Engineering at Icera. He joined the company following the merger of his previous company, Sirific Wireless with Icera in April 2008. Dr Manku founded Sirific in 2000 and served as CTO and Director, responsible for technology development and assessment. Prior to creating Sirific, Dr. Manku served as an associate professor of electrical engineering at the University of Waterloo, where he led the RF Technology Group. Dr. Manku has been an RFIC consultant for a number of companies including Lucent, Motorola, Nortel, PMC-Sierra, TSMC, and Mitel. In the 1990's, Dr. Manku helped pioneer RF CMOS design and his research earned him the prestigious Premier's Research Excellence Award and the backing of Communications and Information Technology Ontario. He holds a B.S. in Solid State Physics and a Ph.D from the University of Waterloo.
